The goal is to educate each participant on the nature of the stress and anxiety, their impact on mental and physical health, to encourage healthy lifestyle choices, including exercise, proper nutrition, self-love, and self-care activities, to promote mindfulness and meditation practices, enhance present moment awareness and reduce stress self-awareness, by implementing relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises, goal setting, and tasks prioritization.
With the help of the Clinical Counselors, you will be able to recognise common triggers and symptoms of stress and anxiety and work on Cognitive restructuring, such as recognition of negative thought patterns and distorted thinking, implementing cognitive reframing, and positive self-talk to promote realistic thinking and becoming aware of different perspectives.
